Assessing the Age and Condition of Your Roof
One of the first things to consider is the age of your roof. Most roofs, whether tiled or metal, have an expected lifespan, and the older they get, the more wear they accumulate.
If your roof is newer and generally in good shape, repairs are often enough to keep it in top condition. But if you’re dealing with a roof that’s nearing 20 years or older, it may be more cost-effective to consider a replacement, especially if you’re noticing multiple weak spots.
A quick inspection can give you a good idea of its condition and help you gauge if repairs are worth it or if it’s time for a fresh start.
